Reports to: Lead Pastor

Overview: The Waypoint Espanol Ministry Pastor, a professing Christ-follower with a pastoral heart and calling who is in full agreement with Waypoint Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith, is responsible to oversee the ministry to and by Waypoint’s Spanish-speaking membership in order to make disciples of Jesus by teaching and equipping them to obey God’s Word. This role serves within the structure of Waypoint, and is not a separate congregation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A calling to vocational Gospel ministry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies or equivalent training.

  • Experience teaching God’s Word.

  • Ability to connect with and lead others.

  • Computer skills appropriate to the position.

  • Fully Bilingual. (English/Spanish)
